Basic Leader Position Specific
Provides a leader the knowledge and skills needed for their specific position. Leader Training goes into greater detail on youth development and boy behavior, program planning, activities, and the purposes of the program.
Leader Specific Training is available for the following positions:
- Cubmaster & Assistant Cubmaster
- Den Leader & Assistant Den Leader
- Webelos Leader & Assistant Webelos Leader
- Pack Committee
- Pack Trainer
To complete the Webelos Leader Training leaders will need to take Outdoor Leader Skills offered in Spring 2011.
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) – for Cub Scout leaders and parents.
BALOO introduces leaders and parents to the skills needed to plan and conduct pack outdoor activities, particularly pack camping. Participants who complete this training will have better understanding of the Cub Scout level of the BSA outdoor program. Gain the skills needed to plan and carry out a safe successful Cub Scout-level overnight activity. This training is required for any adult who is in charge of planning a pack campout.
Check-in will start at 8:00 am - Please bring a pen or pencil, paper for notes, and lots of ENTHUSIASM! Wear your Uniform
