The Webelos portion of Cub Scout programs is especially important as it is designed to prepare Cub Scouts to enter a Boy Scout Troop.
The first and best thing we can do to help Webelos transition to Boy Scouts is to retain them in the program. Finding new scouts is much more difficult than keeping scouts in the program once they join, even if it means helping them move to another pack that better suits their interests.
