Driving Directions
This Document provides street addresses, driving directions, and latitude and longitude for many of the places Carroll Scouters go to. The information is intended to be used to obtain directions from an Internet Mapping site or with a GPS navigation unit.

RSS Feed on the District Web Site
The RSS Feed is a mechanism that allows users to receive short headlines about what is new on our web site without having to go to the site and look around. The webmaster maintains a file containing headlines about important updates. Every time something important changes, the file is updated and your feed is updated the next time you start your browser. To check the feed, just click an icon on your browser and the latest headlines appear.
FireFox Users: To start using the RSS feed, just subscribe by clicking on the "speaker" icon that appears in your browser's address bar when you visit our Home Page. Say OK to the box that opens and asks if its OK to create a live bookmark. A new bookmark with a drop down menu will appear on your bookmark toolbar.
Once you install an RSS feed, click it to see the latest headlines. Click any headline to be taken directly to the relevant location on the web site.
I don't use Internet Explorer, so I can't give good instructions on what to do with that browser just yet, but the process should be similar.
Internet Explorer Users: I don't normally use Internet Explorer so I don't know how to use RSS Feeds with it. I am trying to find this information and will post it if I succeed.
