Carroll District hosts two Cub Scout Day Camps each summer. Day Camp South will be held at the Gamber Fire Department Grounds in June. Day Camp North will be held at Bear Branch Nature Center a few miles north of Westminster. A new information flyer for this year's Day Camps will be posted by the end of February.
NOTE: As of the March RT, the location of Day Camp South has changed for the second time. We discovered that the property lines at Winfield did not allow sufficient saftey zones for Archery and BB ranges. We have relocated to Gamber which has which do accomodates our saftey requirements.
Coming Up (South): 23-27 June 2008 at Gamber Fire Company
Coming Up (North): 14-18 July 2008 at Bear Branch Nature Center

Day Camp Info: This is the primary document explaining all the details of Day Camp.
Pack Tally Sheet: This document is used by each pack's Day Camp POC to register their pack's scouts for Day Camp. The deadline for submitting this form each year is usually the March Round Table Meeting. For 2008, the deadline is the April Round Table on 8 April.
Den Chief Info: Den Chiefs are Boy Scouts who volunteer at day camps as assistants to the adult den leaders. They help with all aspects of the daily camp routine and their time counts toward school service hour requirements.
Den Chief Registration: This is the form needed to register as a Den Chief. A medical form must also be submitted.
Staff Registration: This is the form to register as an adult Day Camp volunteer. A medical form must also be submitted.
Camper Registration: This is the form needed to register a Cub Scout to attend Day Camp. Each scout must submit this form and a medical form to be turned in by a pack leader at the April Round Table meeting.
Junior Camper Registration: Junior Campers are the younger children of adult Day Camp volunteers who must be cared for while their parents help at Day Camp. They do not participate in the Day Camp program, but a specially assigned group of volunteers spends the week caring for these campers on site. This form is used to register a younger child as a Junior Camper.
Medical Forms: ALL participants MUST submit a completed medical form. Adults over 40 must submit a Class 3 Medical Form instead of the Day Camp Medical Form.
