Friends of Scouting is the annual fund raising drive directed toward scouting families and volunteers. The drive identifies the cost to keep one boy in Scouting for one year and marks this as the "One Scout" level donations. Donations a this level are requested from those able to afford it. In 2008, this amount was $135 and donations of this amount are rewarded with a special council patch for that year.
Scout families and their friends dig deep for the generous FOS donations that fund the Scouting program.
